PSL Season 10
Shaheen Shah Afridi, the captain of Lahore Qalandars and architect of their successful title run in Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, has been named the captain of the official Team of the Tournament.
The announcement was made by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) following the conclusion of the tournament, which took place across Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi from April 11 to May 25.

Shaheen led from the front throughout the competition, both with the ball and his leadership. He clinched the prestigious Fazal Mahmood Cap by finishing as the highest wicket-taker of the tournament, with 19 wickets in 13 matches. His dominant performances earned him a well-deserved place at the helm of the star-studded 12-member squad.
Surprisingly, two of Pakistan’s biggest names—Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan—did not make the cut, reflecting the selection committee’s emphasis on current form and impact over reputation. The team was selected by members of the PSL commentary panel, who assessed the standout performers across all teams.
Shaheen is joined by two of his Lahore Qalandars teammates in the Team of the Tournament: veteran batter Fakhar Zaman and versatile all-rounder Sikandar Raza.
Fakhar had an outstanding run, scoring 439 runs in 13 matches, including four fifties. Raza impressed with both bat and ball, contributing 254 runs and taking 10 wickets in 11 appearances.
Quetta Gladiators, the 2019 champions and this season’s runners-up, also feature prominently with three players in the lineup. Emerging batter Hasan Nawaz, who was named Best Batter of PSL 10, scored 399 runs with a century and three fifties.
He is joined by all-rounder Faheem Ashraf, who contributed with 163 runs and 17 wickets, and spinner Abrar Ahmed, who also claimed 17 scalps in 12 matches.
Karachi Kings, who reached Eliminator 1 before bowing out, have three representatives. Australian opener David Warner (368 runs), Englishman James Vince (378 runs, including a century), and pace bowler Hasan Ali (17 wickets) all earned their spots through consistent performances.
Islamabad United’s only inclusion is Sahibzada Farhan, the tournament’s leading run-scorer with 449 runs, earning him the Hanif Mohammad Cap. Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi’s rising star Ali Raza made it to the team for his impressive haul of 12 wickets in just nine matches.
Khushdil Shah, who contributed 253 runs and seven wickets in 11 matches, has been named as the 12th man of the squad.
This carefully curated Team of the Tournament represents a balanced mix of experience, emerging talent, and match-winners who defined PSL 10 with their standout performances.
