Pakistan Super League Announces Massive Prize Money for Season 10

Pakistan Super League

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the prize money for the landmark 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), scheduled to kick off on April 11, 2025.

As anticipation builds for one of the biggest events in Pakistan’s sporting calendar, the PCB revealed that the champions of PSL X will walk away with a hefty sum of $500,000, while the runners-up will be awarded $200,000, underscoring the high stakes at play in this milestone season.

The glittering Luminara Trophy, introduced in a visually captivating three-minute unveiling video filmed along Karachi’s scenic coastline last month, will be the coveted symbol of triumph. This edition promises not only fierce cricketing competition among six top-tier teams but also an immersive entertainment experience for fans across the country.

The tournament will commence in Rawalpindi with a grand opening ceremony at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, set to dazzle the audience with performances from an all-star lineup of Pakistani musical icons.

The legendary Sufi maestro Abida Parveen, pop star Ali Zafar, hip-hop duo Young Stunners, and singers Abrar ul Haq, Natasha Baig, and Talha Anjum will set the stage ablaze, kicking off the season in style.

In the opening match, defending champions Islamabad United will take on two-time titleholders Lahore Qalandars, promising an electrifying start to the month-long cricketing extravaganza.

The 10th PSL season comprises 34 matches running from April 11 to May 18, with games distributed across four major venues. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host the lion’s share—13 matches, including the critical Eliminators and the grand final. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will witness 11 encounters, featuring the Qualifier on May 13.

Meanwhile, Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and the Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches. Fans in Karachi will see their home side, Karachi Kings, launch their PSL 10 campaign on April 12 against Multan Sultans, adding to the excitement.

With high-stakes cricket, massive prize money, and thrilling performances, PSL 10 is shaping up to be a historic celebration of sports and entertainment in Pakistan.
