Prior to the team’s departure, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with the newly appointed white-ball captain Muhammad Rizwan and vice-captain Salman Ali Agha. This meeting aimed to prepare them for leading the team in the forthcoming ODI and T20I series against Australia and Zimbabwe.

Naqvi extended his best wishes to both leaders, expressing optimism for strong performances in the international fixtures.

Emphasizing the honor of leading Pakistan’s white-ball side, Naqvi highlighted the trust placed in Rizwan’s leadership. “Captaining the Pakistan team is an esteemed responsibility,” he stated. “

The nation expects commendable performances under your guidance. The players in this squad are talented professionals, and we look forward to their success.”

In his message to the team, the Chairman stressed the significance of unity and resilience. “Playing as a united team and fighting till the last ball guarantees success. If you perform as one, no opposition can overcome you,” he remarked.
