However, Japan quickly bounced back when Shu Takahashi leveled the score with a hard-fought 11-9, 11-6, 2-11, 7-11, 11-8 victory over Sakhi Ullah Khan Tareen in 57 minutes.
The deciding match saw Abdullah Nawaz rise to the occasion, delivering a dominant performance against Shunsaku Kariyazono. Nawaz secured victory for Pakistan with a straight-set win of 11-7, 11-5, 12-10 in just 30 minutes, ensuring the team’s progression to the semi-finals.
