Pak vs Eng: Naseem Shah tests positive for COVID-19

A few hours after the cricket board announced that Pakistani pacer Naseem Shah had been diagnosed with pneumonia, sources verified that he had contracted coronavirus.

Sources claim that the bowler has been disqualified from the T20I series against England, which is currently taking place in Lahore, as a result of a positive viral test.

Naseem was transported to a hospital the previous day after developing a high fever. He had pneumonia, according to a later announcement from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The action is moving from Karachi to Lahore’s famous Gaddafi Stadium for Pakistan’s seven-match series against England. At 3-2, the Green Shirts are in front of the series.
