Sonakshi Sinha has broken her silence against a malicious social media campaign going on against her and requested the press not to carry what she calls are false reports of non-bailable warrants issued against her in a fraud case.
Sonakshi Sinha found herself at the centre of a controversy after reports of her skipping an event and not returning the money started swirling on social media. The organiser of the event claimed that Sonakshi was paid INR3.7 million to be the chief guest of the event but she didn’t attend the event.

Sonakshi has released a statement denying the “harassing” reports.
“There have been rumours floating in the media about non-bailable warrant issued against me, without any verification from any authorities since a few days now,” Sonakshi said. “This is pure fiction and the work of a rogue individual trying to harass me.”
Sonakshi remarked that “the man behind the malicious articles” is trying to gain publicity and extort money from her by attacking her reputation.
“Kindly do not participate in this harassment charade,” she said, adding that her team is seeking legal action.
