Tehran: Iranโs Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi has called on Muslims and governments across the region to disclose the locations of United States and Israeli military assets, Iranian state-affiliated Defa Press reported on Wednesday.
Shekarchi said such information would allow Tehran to conduct more precise strikes while reducing risks to civilians. He urged regional populations not to shield American or Israeli forces.
โI call on the Muslim people of the region and the countries of the region to show us the hideouts of US and Zionist forces,โ Shekarchi said. He added that sharing such information would help Iranian forces strike targets more accurately and prevent harm to local populations.
Furthermore, the Iranian official argued that US and Israeli forces were operating among civilian populations and effectively using them as โhuman shieldsโ. According to him, identifying military sites would allow Iran to avoid civilian areas during future attacks.
He also claimed that cooperation from people in the region could help remove American military presence and restore security.
At the same time, Shekarchi accused Washington and Israel of targeting civilians during ongoing hostilities. He alleged that attacks had struck Tehran on consecutive days, resulting in casualties among ordinary residents.
According to the spokesperson, Iranian forces would respond to what he described as โsavage actsโ carried out by the United States and Israel.
โWe tell them to expect crushing blows in retaliation,โ he said, warning that Iran would soon deliver severe strikes against what he called โAmerican-Zionist enemiesโ.
Additionally, Shekarchi accused Washington of hypocrisy regarding its stated support for the Iranian public. He claimed that the United States launched attacks under the pretext of supporting Iranians while causing civilian suffering through bombings and missile strikes.
The remarks come as tensions across the Middle East continue to escalate amid widening conflict involving Iran, Israel and the United States.
