ISLAMABAD: The Climate Data Processing Centre has released a forecast regarding the sighting of the Shaban moon in Pakistan.
According to the Centre, the birth of the Shaban moon will take place on January 29 at 5:36 pm, and it is expected to be sighted on Thursday, January 30.
If the moon is sighted on January 30, the first day of Shaban will fall on January 31, with Shab-e-Barat being observed on February 14.
The weather during the moon sighting is predicted to be clear in some areas, while others may experience cloudy conditions.
The Centre reported that at sunset, the moon’s age will be 25 hours and 4 minutes, and it will remain visible for approximately 57 minutes after sunset. For the moon to be sighted, it must be at least 19 hours old, making its visibility highly likely.
