Vladimir Putin Faces AI ‘Double’ with Surprising Questions on Clones and Artificial Intelligence

Russian President Vladimir Putin had a surprising encounter with an AI-generated version of himself during an annual news conference. The AI “double” asked Putin about the existence of his supposed doubles and inquired about the dangers posed by artificial intelligence and neural networks.

Amid laughter from the audience, Putin, who was already in the midst of a lengthy Q&A session, displayed a rare moment of hesitation. He responded, “I see you may resemble me and speak with my voice. But I have thought about it and decided that only one person must be like me and speak with my voice, and that will be me.” Putin then casually remarked, “That is my first double, by the way.”

The question about Putin having body doubles has been a topic of recurrent speculation, especially in Western media, often linked to alleged health concerns. However, the Kremlin has consistently denied such claims, asserting that Putin’s health is in excellent condition.
