Bloomberg News reported that Apple is developing AI products like OpenAIโs ChatGPT and Googleโs Bard. This news drove its shares to a record high, rising up to 2 percent.
The company has developed its framework named Ajax to build large language models (LLMs). Additionally, they are testing a chatbot, nicknamed “Apple GPT,” as per informed engineers.
The Reuters news agency’s request for comment went unanswered by the company.
Unlike Alphabet and Microsoft, Apple has refrained from major AI endeavors. In its June developer conference, the company did not mention AI.

After the report, shares of Microsoft, Nvidia, and Alphabet dipped over 1 percent.

The new virtual assistant generates summaries and answers questions based on trained data. It resembles Bard, ChatGPT, and Bing AI, functioning as a web application for internal product prototyping.
While Apple lacks a concrete plan for the tools, it aims to make a significant AI-related announcement next year.
In recent times, the tech industry has been abuzz with advancements in artificial intelligence. Companies like OpenAI and Google have taken bold steps with products like ChatGPT and Bard. However, Apple has been relatively reserved in its approach to AI.
