The Supreme Court has set hearings for appeals challenging the reinstatement of the PTI founder’s bail and the cancellation of his physical remand related to the May 9 riots.
A three-member bench, led by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, will review the case on February 27. The bench also includes Justice Shafi Siddiqui and Justice Gul Hassan Aurangzeb.
Additionally, the court will hear the Punjab government’s appeals on the same day, seeking to overturn the bail granted to other individuals accused in the May 9 incidents.
Earlier, the Punjab government had petitioned for the revocation of bail for multiple individuals allegedly involved in the riots.
