LAHORE: Sazgar Engineering Works Limited reported its highest-ever monthly four-wheeler production in March 2026, signaling strong growth in both output and sales.
According to the companyโs latest disclosure, production reached 1,808 units in the month. This marks more than a twofold increase compared to the same period last year and a 10 percent rise on a month-on-month basis. As a result, the company achieved a new milestone in its manufacturing performance.
Meanwhile, sales also showed a steady upward trend. The company sold 1,734 units in March, reflecting an 84 percent increase year-on-year and a 3 percent gain compared to February. Consequently, both production and sales remained closely aligned, indicating sustained market demand.
Furthermore, the positive momentum extended to the broader fiscal period. During the first nine months of FY26, Sazgarโs four-wheeler production reached 12,871 units, representing a 55 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Similarly, cumulative sales stood at 12,630 units, up 57 percent year-on-year.
The consistent growth highlights improving conditions in Pakistanโs automotive sector, where demand for locally assembled vehicles continues to recover. In addition, the companyโs expanding output suggests enhanced production capacity and operational efficiency.
Overall, Sazgarโs record-breaking performance underscores its strengthening position in the domestic market. If the current trend continues, the company is likely to close the fiscal year on a strong note, driven by robust consumer demand and steady production gains.
