The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially launched a new online service, “Nusuk Umrah,” aimed at transforming the way foreign Muslims apply for Umrah visas. The platform is designed to simplify procedures, reduce dependency on intermediaries, and offer pilgrims a seamless, integrated digital experience.
For the first time, applicants can directly apply for Umrah visas online without the need for agents or third-party intermediaries. In addition to streamlining the visa process, Nusuk Umrah provides a one-stop solution for pilgrims by offering services such as hotel bookings, transportation, and guided tours. This ensures that worshippers can plan their pilgrimage with ease, convenience, and confidence.
The platform is available in seven international languages and is linked to official government networks, which accelerates visa issuance while ensuring transparency and security. To meet the diverse needs of a global audience, Nusuk Umrah also provides multiple secure payment options.
Officials highlighted that while the platform gives pilgrims direct access to services, it does not replace authorized travel agents. Instead, it complements traditional options by offering flexibility. Pilgrims can choose between complete packages arranged through agencies or customize their journey by selecting only the services they need.
The service can be accessed through the official website, umrah.nusuk.sa, where pilgrims will also find updated information about approved travel agents for those who may prefer or require assistance in the application process.
The Saudi government emphasized that Nusuk Umrah is part of the broader Vision 2030 initiative, which seeks to modernize and enhance the Hajj and Umrah experience. By leveraging digital innovation, Saudi Arabia aims to host a greater number of pilgrims while maintaining high standards of quality, accessibility, and comfort.
