The groundbreaking event showcased the designs of Moroccan designer Yasmina Qanzal, predominantly featuring one-piece swimsuits in vibrant hues such as red, beige, and blue. Many of the models flaunted exposed shoulders and partially visible midriffs, reflecting a bold departure from traditional norms.

However, attendees like Shouq Mohammed, a Syrian fashion influencer, and Raphael Simacourbe, a French influencer, expressed support for the swimsuit fashion show, viewing it as a testament to Saudi Arabia’s evolving cultural landscape. Mohammed emphasized the significance of embracing such events as part of the kingdom’s openness to the world, while Simacourbe commended the courage of the organizers in challenging societal norms.
