Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier flyadeal has expanded its Pakistan operations by launching scheduled flights to Lahore, its fifth destination in the country. The inaugural flight, F3 655, departed from Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport and landed at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport to a warm reception, including a traditional water cannon salute.
The arrival ceremony featured airport officials, airline executives, and the crew of the first flight, who celebrated the milestone with a cake-cutting event.
Increasing Connectivity and Flight Frequency
According to a company statement, flyadeal will operate two weekly flights between Riyadh and Lahore. With this addition, the airline’s total flight capacity between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan rises to 18 weekly services. Flyadeal already connects Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Sialkot, having launched these routes progressively since February 2025.
Rapid Expansion Reflects Market Confidence
Flyadeal CEO Steven Greenway hailed the launch as an “incredible achievement,” emphasizing the team’s efforts in expanding across Pakistan within eight months. “Our teams have done a remarkable job in planning, launching, and establishing a nationwide operation so quickly,” he remarked.
Head of Sales Farooq Ahmad also highlighted Pakistan as one of the airline’s most promising markets, reflecting strong travel demand between the two nations.
Part of Saudi Vision 2030 Growth Strategy
Operating a modern fleet of 42 Airbus A320s, flyadeal serves over 30 destinations across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and South Asia. Under Saudi Vision 2030, the airline plans to expand to over 100 destinations and operate more than 100 aircraft by the decade’s end.
