ISLAMABAD: A senior adviser to Saudi government held a meeting in London with Nawaz Sharif, former prime minister of Pakistan amid speculations that three countries, including Saudi Arabia, are brokering a deal between PML-N and Pakistani establishment.
These days speculations are rife that a deal is being brokered between the PML-N and the military establishment with guarantees from three countries (most probably Saudi Arabia, China, and Turkey, etc.) and once the deal is finalized, PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan and the party would be able to form next government if it gets majority seats in the next general elections.

Recent meeting of senior Saudi government’s adviser with Nawaz Sharif in London. Brig. (Retd) Farooq Hameed Khan has also shared his tweet today in which he pointed out a report claiming meeting between Saudi adviser and Nawaz Sharif.
Quoting media reports, he said the meeting took place on Jan 2, 2022, in London wherein the duo discussed Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations and the present regime in Pakistan. Is Nawaz Sharif seeking Saudi help to come back like he did in 2007 after getting NRO from Gen. Musharraf? This is the core question Farooq Hameed has raised through his tweet today.
The news of meeting between Saudi adviser and Nawaz Sharif has created an alarm in the Pakistani politics and further intensified flurry of speculations regarding change in Pakistan, next general elections and formation of a new government.
Nevertheless, so far, neither the government nor the PML(N) has shared the names of the countries which are trying to make sure a deal between Nawaz Sharif and the establishment. A few days ago, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif will not return to Pakistan without striking a deal. He gave this statement amid widespread speculations about the return of Nawaz Sharif in the country.
