Sannia Ashfaq, wife of former Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim, has ignited fresh speculation about her relationship status with a cryptic Instagram post amid growing rumours of an alleged affair involving Imad and social media influencer Naila Raja.
On Instagram, Sannia posted:
“Silence should not be considered as consent or lack of evidence. I am just choosing the right time after thinking carefully.”
The post immediately drew attention online, with many interpreting it as a subtle indication of turmoil in the couple’s marriage.
This message comes shortly after Sannia shared an emotional caption following the birth of their son, Zayan. The post notably omitted any mention of Imad, reading: “I carried you alone in my womb for 9 months. May Allah give me more strength for the journey ahead.” The absence of Imad’s name in both posts has led fans and followers to speculate about a possible separation.
Social media users have also pointed out that Sannia has removed all photos of Imad from her Instagram profile and updated her bio. Once reading “Imad Wasim’s wife,” her bio now says only: “Anaya Imad and Rayan Imad’s mother.”
Naila Raja Issues Rebuttal, Slams Online Harassment
Amid the growing scandal, influencer Naila Raja found herself in the spotlight after a viral video surfaced showing a woman walking beside Imad Wasim in London. This video fueled unverified claims of a secret relationship between the two.
Naila responded with a firm denial on her social media platforms, condemning what she described as “baseless accusations” and online harassment. “I am also a woman,” she wrote. “I’ve built my life with dignity, hard work, and self-restraint. Please stop making baseless assumptions.”
She also criticized societal double standards, questioning why women are often judged more harshly. “Why is a woman’s morality always up for debate? Why does society stay silent when it comes to questioning a man’s actions?” she asked.
As of now, Imad Wasim has not issued any public statement regarding the matter. Interestingly, his Instagram profile still includes photos of Sannia, and both spouses continue to follow each other — suggesting that the situation remains fluid, if unresolved.
