Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Z TriFold, marking its first foray into tri-fold smartphones. The Galaxy Z TriFold measures 12.9mm thick when fully unfolded and 3.9mm at its thinnest point. Weighing 309 grams, it is designed for comfort and convenience. Unlike earlier concepts, the TriFold unfolds twice, rather than using an accordion-style hinge, for a smoother experience.
The phone features a 6.5-inch outward-facing center panel as a cover display. Inside, the 10-inch panel supports multitasking with up to five apps simultaneously, offering a “desktop-like” experience on a mobile device. This setup enhances productivity and entertainment alike.
Power and Performance
Samsung powers the TriFold with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. Coupled with 16GB of RAM, the device ensures seamless multitasking and high-performance handling of demanding apps.
Battery life relies on a triple-cell 5,600mAh battery, sufficient to manage the large inner display while supporting extended use throughout the day. Users can enjoy entertainment, work, and gaming without frequent recharging interruptions.

Availability and Pricing
Samsung will release the Galaxy Z TriFold in Korea on December 12. Gradual rollouts are expected in China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE, and the United States in early 2026.
The Korean launch price is 3,590,400 won (around $2,450), while the US version is expected to cost approximately $2,500. Samsung includes a case, a 45W charger, a one-time 50% discounted screen replacement, and a six-month Google AI Pro trial to add value to the premium price.
