Samsung has officially started rolling out the stable One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch6 and Watch6 Classic, shortly after ending the beta program. The update is based on Wear OS 6 and marks the first time this new software version is available to general users.
According to leaker Alfatürk on X, the update began in South Korea with firmware versions R960XXU1CYK2 for the Watch6 and R960OXM1CYK2 for the Watch6 Classic. The rollout is expected to expand to other countries in the coming days.
New Features in One UI 8 Watch
One UI 8 Watch originally debuted with the Galaxy Watch8 series in July and was later extended to the Galaxy Watch7. Now, the Galaxy Watch6 series is receiving the update, which brings a host of enhancements:
