Pakistani actor Saba Qamar has addressed ongoing speculation about her marriage plans following her recent collaboration with actor Usman Mukhtar, who has humorously earned a “matchmaker” tag in the entertainment industry after several of his co-stars got married soon after working with him.
Speaking on a podcast with Ahmed Randhawa, Qamar expressed her thoughts on love and destiny, saying, “Who doesn’t want to be loved?” She added that matters of marriage and relationships are ultimately determined by fate. “If it has been written in your destiny, you can’t even refuse the wedding,” she remarked.
Reflecting on her collaboration with Mukhtar, the Case No. 9 actress said she hopes the project may bring new blessings or changes in her life. However, she emphasized that love and marriage require time — something she currently struggles to find in her busy schedule. “Love needs time, weddings need time, and you need time after all of these,” Qamar said, adding with a laugh, “I don’t even have time to get a full eight hours of sleep.”
She further explained that life events such as marriage and having children are deeply tied to destiny and cannot be rushed or delayed by one’s own efforts. “Honestly, weddings, children, these things are all about destiny; it doesn’t happen before and after the time,” she said.
The UNICEF ambassador concluded by highlighting her desire for stability and emotional fulfillment. “Who doesn’t want stability in life, who doesn’t want contentment, who doesn’t want love, who doesn’t like to be loved? So, again, when it is in luck, and who it will be written, it will happen,” she stated, gracefully putting an end to the swirling wedding rumors.
