Russian forces have seized the first city of Ukraine, Kreminna in eastern Ukraine and Ukrainian troops have withdrawn from the city.
Kreminna, with a population of more than 18,000 before the war with Russia, appears to be the first city occupied by Russian forces since they launched a new offensive in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine.

โKreminna is under the control of the โOrcsโ [Russians]. They have entered the city,โ Serhiy Gaidai, the governor of the Luhansk region, told a briefing on Tuesday.
โOur defenders had to withdraw. They have entrenched themselves in new positions and continue to fight the Russian army.โ
Meanwhile, Russian forces have also asked Ukranian soldiers in Mariupol to surrender. Russian soldiers have surrounded Mariupol from all sides and asked Ukranian forces to surrender.
Despite global pressure, Russia is continuing war against Ukraine and trying to capture more cities.
