Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda passed away on Wednesday at the age of 35 after remaining on a ventilator for nearly two weeks. The artist had sustained critical injuries in a tragic road accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, on September 27, 2025.
According to reports, Jawanda lost control of his motorbike while traveling to Shimla and crashed after colliding with or trying to avoid stray cattle that had suddenly appeared on the road. The impact caused severe head and spinal injuries, leaving him in a critical state.

After the accident, he was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Solan, where doctors worked tirelessly to stabilize him. Reports suggest that he suffered a heart attack during treatment. Due to his worsening condition, he was later shifted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali for advanced medical care. Despite continuous efforts by doctors for 12 days, Rajvir Jawanda sadly succumbed to his injuries.

Rajvir Jawanda, who lived in Sector 71, Mohali, was one of the most admired figures in the Punjabi entertainment industry. He earned widespread recognition for his hit songs such as Sardari, Kamla, Mera Dil, and Surname. His strong vocals and patriotic themes resonated deeply with Punjabi audiences worldwide.
In addition to his musical achievements, Jawanda made a successful transition to acting. His performances in films like Jind Jaan, Mindo Taseeldarni, and Kaka Ji showcased his versatility and charm, solidifying his place in Punjabi cinema.
