LAHORE: The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has announced fresh recruitment for Police Communication Officers (PCOs), offering new opportunities for qualified candidates to join Punjabโs public safety and surveillance system.
According to the official recruitment details, PSCA has opened 267 vacancies for the Police Communication Officer position. The hiring campaign is open to both male and female applicants, and all government quotas will apply under existing rules.
The authority has especially encouraged women, minorities, and persons with special needs to submit applications.
To qualify, candidates must have 16 years of education in IT-related fields. Eligible degrees include BCS, BBIT, BS Telecom, MBA-IT, MCS, MSc IT, or any equivalent qualification.
PSCA said it will give preference to applicants with previous experience in the police department, IT-based projects, or call center operations. The maximum age limit for applicants is 28 years.
Applicants must also hold a Punjab domicile. PSCA highlighted several districts where candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Murree, Nankana Sahib, Layyah, Rajanpur, Kot Addu, Taunsa, Chiniot, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, and Wazirabad.
The authority added that candidates must submit applications online through the National Testing Service (NTS) portal. It also clarified that government employees must apply through the proper departmental channel.
