LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Punjab Minister for Minorities Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora has extended heartfelt thanks to the global Sikh community for standing in solidarity with Pakistan and its armed forces amid recent regional tensions.
In a statement issued on Monday, Arora praised the unity and principled stance of Sikhs worldwide, stating, “The Sikh nation has once again shown that it never compromises on the principles of peace, brotherhood, and truth.”
He noted the strong support for Pakistan from Sikh communities across India, the United States, Canada, Europe, and Switzerland, describing it as a powerful message that “truth transcends borders.”
Arora also pointed out that attempts by hostile elements to sow division within the Sikh community had failed, emphasizing the community’s resilience and unity. He highlighted a song recently released by young Indian Sikhs, calling it a bold and conscience-awakening expression that gained global attention.
He commended the peaceful and constructive efforts of international Sikh organizations, including the World Sikh Parliament, and stressed that the teachings of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji continue to inspire humanity toward peace, tolerance, and equality.
“The Sikh community in Pakistan stands firmly with the Constitution, the armed forces, and national institutions,” Arora affirmed. “We are not just a minority—we are loyal citizens of Pakistan, standing shoulder to shoulder with our nation in every moment of challenge.”
He concluded by expressing pride in the global Sikh community’s vision, dignity, and commitment to a peaceful mission.
