LAHORE: The Punjab cabinet has officially scheduled the provincial budget session for June 16, with Chief Minister Punjab set to preside over the meeting.
According to details revealed on Thursday, the cabinet has approved a summary to convene the session at 10:00 AM on June 16.
During this meeting, the Punjab cabinet will grant final approval to the proposed provincial budget for the fiscal year.
Once approved, Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman will present the budget in the provincial assembly.
The budget was originally slated for June 13, but the presentation was postponed due to delays in finalizing the finance bill.
