LAHORE — Police have arrested Adil Gujjar, son of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Khalid Gujjar, in Raiwind for allegedly displaying illegal firearms during a political event.
According to officials, Adil was seen brandishing weapons during a reception rally held for a PTI convoy on Saturday night. Law enforcement sources confirmed the recovery of illegal arms from his possession at the time of the arrest.
A case has been registered against him on charges of interference in official duties and unlawful possession of firearms.
Police emphasized that strict legal action will be taken in accordance with the law, regardless of political affiliation.
