Third Letter
The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has reaffirmed his commitment to facing all legal proceedings without seeking any deals or special treatment.
He stated that he will appear before the same judges handling his cases and will not pursue any backdoor negotiations to influence the legal process.
Furthermore, he accused the authorities of appointing specific judges with the intent to secure his conviction, calling it an attempt to manipulate the judiciary and undermine fair trial principles.
Addressing recent allegations, he categorically denied claims that he had written a letter to the Chief of Army Staff seeking a deal. Instead, he clarified that his communication was solely aimed at expressing concerns over the growing lack of public trust in the military.
He emphasized that the widening gap between the people and the armed forces poses a serious threat to the country’s stability and must be addressed. In his view, Pakistan’s long-term security and prosperity depend on maintaining a strong and trusting relationship between the military and the public.
The PTI founder strongly criticized the establishment’s policies, arguing that they have contributed to deepening divisions between the nation and the armed forces.
He stressed that the military plays a pivotal role in ensuring Pakistan’s survival and security, and that unity between the people and the army is essential. He called upon all stakeholders to work towards rebuilding this trust in the interest of national cohesion and stability.
He further explained that his letter was intended to highlight the urgent need for national unity, particularly in the fight against terrorism. He noted that internal conflicts and distrust weaken the country’s ability to tackle security threats effectively.
To further his message, he announced plans to write another open letter in the coming week, which will be addressed directly to the people of Pakistan.
Through this letter, he hopes to urge both the establishment and the Chief Justice to stand with the citizens, end all forms of oppression, and take meaningful steps toward national harmony.
He expressed hope that his message will resonate with the leadership and encourage them to prioritize justice, democracy, and the collective welfare of the nation.
