Supreme Court takes up for hearing Punjab-KP polls petition
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan takes up for hearing today a plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) about the date for elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A five-member larger bench of the apex court is hearing the case. Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial is heading the larger bench.
Apart from the CJP, the bench includes Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan, Justice Munib Akhtar, Justice Amin-Ud-Din Khan and Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail.
