PTI to Hold Public Gathering in Quetta on November 8

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced that it will hold a public gathering in Quetta on November 8 (Friday). The rally will take place at the hockey ground in Quetta, and PTI spokespersons confirmed that all preparations for the event in Balochistan’s provincial capital have been completed.

PTI Accuses Government of Running a ‘Banana Republic’

In a separate development, PTI senior leader Asad Qaiser criticized the incumbent government, accusing it of turning Pakistan into a “banana republic.” In a video statement, the former National Assembly speaker questioned, “Is it possible to live under the rule of the jungle?” He highlighted the severe hardships faced by the public, particularly in struggling to afford basic necessities like food.

Qaiser also targeted key political figures, including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, saying, “Is this the democracy that both Nawaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari claim to believe in? These two have harmed the country.”

He warned that Pakistan was heading towards “anarchy,” and emphasized that the true power in the country lies with the people.
