PML-N Launches ‘Pakistan Ko Nawaz Do’ Campaign with Unveiling of Much-Awaited Election Manifesto

ISLAMABAD: In a highly anticipated event, Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), revealed the party’s election manifesto with the rallying slogan ‘Pakistan Ko Nawaz Do.’ Addressing the media, Sharif emphasized his party’s commitment to implementing the comprehensive manifesto, identifying the nation’s economic challenges as a top priority.

In a pointed critique of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Sharif accused the ruling party of burdening the poor with inflation and disrupting essential services, contrasting it with his tenure when electricity remained uninterrupted. He pledged a focus on development rather than revenge, emphasizing his commitment to principled politics.

The manifesto, presented by Manifesto Committee Chairman Senator Irfan Siddiqui, underscores PML-N’s dedication to realistic promises. Siddiqui highlighted that Nawaz Sharif had instructed the committee to avoid including unattainable commitments, reflecting the party’s determination to fulfill its pledges.

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif announced the establishment of a specialized body to ensure the effective implementation of the manifesto. He urged voters to scrutinize political parties based on their manifesto accomplishments, emphasizing the need for action, not just promises.

Breaking down the manifesto, key points include interest-free loans for small farmers, modern technology to address crop damage, environmental-friendly government offices, the restoration of Articles 62 and 63, and the introduction of a Panchayat System for dispute resolution.

Additionally, the manifesto focuses on judicial reforms, abolition of NAB, strengthening anti-corruption institutions, and amendments in procedural laws for fair justice.

Economically, PML-N aims to reduce inflation by 10% by fiscal year 2025, create over 10 million jobs in five years, maintain a low CAD, and achieve exports exceeding $58 billion by 2029. The manifesto reflects a multifaceted approach to address Pakistan’s challenges, emphasizing economic revitalization, judicial efficiency, and good governance.
