Chartered flight
ISLAMABAD: A chartered flight has been booked for the return of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif to Lahore on October 21.
PML-N leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is set to return to Pakistan on a flight dubbed “Umeed-e-Pakistan.” It has a capacity of 150 passengers and all arrangements are in place for his arrival.
Some party leaders and journalists are also accompanying Nawaz Sharif from Dubai to Pakistan on October 21. The special flight will first land in Islamabad from Dubai and then proceed to Lahore. In Lahore, Nawaz Sharif will address a gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan at evening.
Prior to his return to Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif traveled to Saudi Arabia for Umrah on Wednesday. He plans to spend a week in Saudi Arabia, during which he will participate in important meetings. His journey to Dubai is scheduled for the 18th of October.
For his visit to Saudi Arabia, Nawaz Sharif will be joined by his trusted aides, including Mian Nasir Janjua, Waqar Ahmed, his friend Karim Yousaf, and a few others. Notably, Nasir Janjua, the owner of MIDJAC company, had spent nearly three years in exile in London with Nawaz Sharif and returned to Pakistan only a few months ago.
Meanwhile, PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif has embarked on a journey to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. He started this tour before landing in Lahore that aims at his return to power in Pakistan.
The real purpose of Nawazโs visit to Pakistanโs friendly nations _ KSA, UAE, and Qatar is to get their diplomatic, financial, and moral support.

This will give dual support to PML-N leader and his party. First, Nawaz Sharif and his party leaders will use influence of the friendly nations in the upcoming elections and in dealing with the establishment.
Secondly, the financial support from China, KSA, UAE, and Qatar is essential to revive the battered economy of Pakistan.
It is understood that the rulers in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and China will not hold direct meetings with Nawaz Sharif as he has been facing cases in courts. PML-N, nonetheless, will take advantage of indirect contacts with rulers in these countries.
At present, a majority of the people are unhappy with the PDM parties especially PML-N as they signed a deal with the IMF that has ruined the business, inflated cost of utilities, and inflation.
It would not be wrong to say that the IMF deal has made miserable the life of masses in the country.
Thus, the PML-N would have to come up with an agenda to win the support of the masses in the country though it appears a challenging task for Nawaz Sharif and his party in the upcoming elections.
Moreover, the recent public rally of PML-N, led by Maryam Nawaz, in Shahdara, adjacent to Lahore, showed a lack of massesโ support for the N-League. PML-N leaders are under an immense pressure after this failed public show near Lahore.
How Nawaz Sharif will win the hearts and minds of millions of people? This is a big question for the PML-N leadership in the prevailing scenario wherein people are annoyed with the party due to unbearable electricity bills.
