ISLAMABAD: PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are returning to Pakistan within this month to lead by-elections in Punjab and KP after dissolution of both the assemblies.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif told this to PML-N leaders in a meeting on Friday. Before meeting, PM Shehbaz contacted Nawaz Sharif on telephone and discussed with him the latest political scenario in Punjab and KP provinces.
Governor Punjab Baligh ur Rehman is expected to dissolve the Punjab Assembly today, a day after chief minister Pervez Elahi signed the summary to dissolve PA and sent it to the Governor.

On Thursday, Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi formally advised the Governor of Punjab to dissolve the provincial assembly.

PTI chairman Imran Khan held a meeting with Punjab chief minister on Thursday in Lahore in which the party leaders decided to dissolve the provincial assembly immediately.
