Ahmed Nawaz Sakhera, Naseer Ahmed Khan and Nasir Saeed Khosa are the three candidates whose names will be sent to the Governor for selection of a caretaker chief minister.
Elahi said he finalized these names after consulting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday.
“We are sending these three names to the Governor Punjab and if the opposition accepted any of these names, Governor will appoint a caretaker chief minister,” he added.

Last week CM Elahi signed a summary for the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly. The assebly dissolved after 48 hours as the Punjab Governor didn’t sign the summery.
As per the law, Pervez Elahi will continue to serve as the Punjab chief minister till the caretaker chief minister is not appointed.
