ISLAMABAD: A local court in Islamabad indicted Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case on Wednesday.
PTI chairman Imran Khan, who is in custody now, was charge-sheeted in this case today.
Khan, however, boycotted the proceedings of the Toshakhana case at the Police Lines in Islamabad.
Lawyers of former prime minister Imran Khan urged the court to transfer the case to another judge, but the request was rejected.

The counsel of Imran Khan also boycotted the proceedings of the case and left the courtroom.
PTI chairman and the former prime minister is facing two cases _ Al-Qadir Trust and the Toshakhana case.
The district and sessions judge indicted Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case.
Meanwhile, the National Accountability Bureau officials are seeking 14-day physical remand of Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
Imran Khan detained at Police Lines in Islamabad
Former prime minister and chairman of the PTI, Imran Khan is being kept at the Police Lines in Islamabad.
Hearing of the Al-Qadir Trust case is also taking place inside the Police Lines. Islamabad’s administration has declared Police Lines as a sub-jail and Imran Khan will be kept there as long as the hearing of the case goes on.
Judge of the accountability court Bashir Memon is also hearing the plea of the NAB which is seeking 14-day physical remand of Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
Earlier, a medical team of the state-run largest hospital in Islamabad _ Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) conducted a medical examination and declared Khan physically fit.
PTI to challenge arrest of Khan in the Supreme Court
Meanwhile, Senior leaders of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf decided to challenge the legality of the arrest of Imran Khan in the Supreme Court.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi, senior vice-president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf today said his party is challenging in the Supreme Court the decision of the Islamabad High Court wherein the court termed the arrest of Khan by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) legal.
The PTI vice chairman summoned an emergency meeting of the seven-member committee after the arrest of party chairman Imran Khan. The committee reviewed the situation and devised a strategy to secure the early release of Imran Khan.
Senators Saifullah Khan Nyazee, Azam Swati, Ijaz Chaudhry, Murad Saeed, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, and Hassan Niazi are seven-member of the committee of the PTI.
Qureshi said Khan’s arrest was unjustified and unacceptable and the party will challenge it in the apex court today.
