Governor Punjab warns of Governor Rule in Punjab in case law and order gets out of control

LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman said the federal government may impose Governor Rule in Punjab province in case the security situation gets out of control.

He said that the federal government can exercise constitutional provisions to impose governor rule in Punjab.

Punjab Governor said, “People vandalized the Governor House to protest against Wazirabad attack and created law and order problem.”

Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman stated this while addressing a ceremony at the Dow University of Health and Sciences in Karachi on Tuesday.

He said, “The protesters burnt the door of the Governor house and this was intolerable.”

Keeping in view a critical security situation in Punjab, the security of the province had been handed over to the Rangers.

Talking about the Dow University Hospital, Balighur Rehman lauded the Sindh government for working for the progression of the health department.

Governor Punjab said that the businessmen community of Punjab has also appreciated the Indus hospital project, serving the ailing people.
