Swabi Rally
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has made a passionate declaration of his commitment to securing the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, Imran Khan.
Speaking at a large public gathering in Swabi, Gandapur vowed that they were prepared to sacrifice their lives if necessary to ensure the release of their leader.
The gathering, organized by PTI, aimed to show solidarity with the imprisoned Imran Khan and called for the independence of the judiciary, which many party members and supporters believe has been compromised.
“We will not rest until the release of our leader, even if we have to give up our lives,” Gandapur proclaimed to an enthusiastic crowd of supporters.
The chief minister’s remarks were met with cheers, reflecting the growing tensions and determination among PTI followers, who have been rallying for Imran Khan’s freedom.
Addressing the audience, Gandapur emphasized the need for sacrifice in the pursuit of justice and freedom. “There is no freedom without sacrifice,” he stated, reinforcing the message that true liberty and the independence of Pakistan’s institutions could only be achieved through significant personal and collective sacrifices.
He framed the struggle for Imran Khan’s release as a fight for “true freedom,” not only for their party but for the country as a whole.
During his fiery speech, Gandapur also spoke about the internal dynamics of PTI, making it clear that Imran Khan remains the sole decision-maker in the party. “Only Imran Khan has the power to make decisions in the party,” he said, solidifying the unwavering loyalty that PTI members and leadership have towards their founder.
This statement further demonstrated that the party remains united under Khan’s leadership, despite the challenges and setbacks it has faced in recent months.
In reference to the much-anticipated PTI march on Islamabad, which has been rumored to be a potential strategy to demand Imran Khan’s release, Gandapur gave a bold message. “We will not return until the release of the PTI founder,” he asserted, indicating the seriousness of the movement.
The chief minister made it clear that their resolve was firm and that PTI members and supporters would not give up until their leader was freed. “We will fight, but we will not go back home,” Gandapur declared, underscoring their commitment to the cause.
The rally in Swabi was part of a larger campaign by PTI to garner public support for the release of Imran Khan, who remains a dominant figure in Pakistani politics despite his incarceration.
His imprisonment has sparked widespread protests and demonstrations across the country, with PTI leaders like Gandapur leading the charge for his release.
As the chief minister’s speech drew to a close, it was clear that PTI’s leadership and its supporters are fully committed to their cause.
Gandapur’s vow to sacrifice everything for Imran Khan’s freedom resonated with the crowd, reflecting the party’s determination to fight for their leader’s release and for what they see as a just and independent judicial system in Pakistan.
With PTI’s planned march on Islamabad looming, the political landscape in Pakistan remains highly charged. The future of Imran Khan, as well as the direction of PTI’s campaign, will likely be a focal point of national attention in the coming weeks.
