QUETTA: The Balochistan Election Tribunal has de-notified Provincial Home Minister Zia Lango, ordering re-voting at seven polling stations in Gizag and Johan.
The tribunal, led by Justice Abdullah Baloch, heard the case and invalidated Zia Lango’s appointment as Home Minister. The case was brought to the tribunal by Mir Saeed Lango, who filed an election complaint against Zia Lango.
In a separate ruling, the Balochistan Election Tribunal dismissed a petition filed against Sarfraz Bugti. Nawabzada Ghoram Bugti had challenged the eligibility of the Balochistan Chief Minister from PB-10.
The tribunal, led by Justice Rozi Khan, announced the reserved decision on the Chief Minister’s competence after completing the hearing. Advocate General Balochistan, Asif Ali, represented the government in the tribunal.
Nawabzada Ghoram Bugti had questioned Sarfraz Bugti’s eligibility for PB-10.
