Daily Mail’s apology: Marriyum Aurangzeb asks Imran Khan, Shahzad Akbar to say sorry

Marriyum Aurangzeb, the minister of information and broadcasting, claimed that the Daily Mail’s apology to Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif is a slap on the opponent’s Face because no evidence of corruption had been presented against him.

Marriyum said, “Imran Khan and Shahzad Akbar made false accusations at Sharif’s family and created political disruption after PTI came into power in 2018.”

The information minister also said that since Shahzad Akbar and Ex-PM Khan decided to give the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) reference to Daily Mail, they should apologise in place of Daily Mail.

“The PTI chairman invited David Rose on a talk show and conspired against the PM, by saying that Shehbaz Sharif was involved in embezzlement in the earthquake relief funds” the speaker claimed.

The minister went on to say that even though PM Shehbaz spent ten years working to develop Punjab, Imran Khan and Shahzad Akbar had falsely accused him, and the tabloid had failed to back up its claims in court.

The federal minister Added: “A full trial was held against Shehbaz Sharif, afterward Daily Mail unconditionally apologised for it.

Gladly all PML-N leaders have their heads held high as allegations of corruption against them have proved to be false.”
