LAHORE: On Saturday, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) remanded PTI leaders Mian Mehmood-ul-Rasheed and Ejaz Chaudhary in judicial custody for their involvement in the burning of a container at Lahore Kalma Chowk.
The court granted a 14-day judicial remand for the PTI leaders and scheduled their next court appearance for October 21.

It’s important to note that violent clashes erupted across Pakistan following the arrest of the former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) premises on May 9.
Moreover, PTI workers who involved in violent protests that included attacks on army installations and the Corps Commanderโs house in Lahore.
Additionally, arrest of PTI Chairman Khan from his Lahore residence on August 5, following a five-year disqualification and a three-year prison sentence in the Toshakhana criminal case.
Supreme Court Sets Up Six Benches For The Upcoming Week

The Supreme Court has established six benches to hear cases from October 9 to 13.
On Monday, a 15-member full court of the apex court will address the Practice and Procedure case. Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Faez Isa, will lead a three-member bench to handle 50 cases from October 10 to 13.
Justice Sardar Tariq Masood will preside over a two-member bench handling 120 cases in the upcoming judicial week.
Similarly, Justice Aijaz ul Ahsan will head a three-member bench addressing 50 cases, and Justice Mansoor Ali Shah will lead a two-member bench addressing 50 cases.
