Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Kamra Airbase on Thursday to commend the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) personnel who played a pivotal role in the country’s recent national defence operation.
The visit was aimed at honoring the “Shaheens” of the PAF for their exceptional professionalism, courage, and dedication during the successful mission. The Prime Minister lauded the officers for upholding the highest standards of service in defending Pakistan’s airspace.
Accompanying the Prime Minister were Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and senior cabinet members including Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, and Information Minister Atta Tarar.
The presence of Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, alongside other top civil and military officials, underscored the unity of Pakistan’s leadership in acknowledging and supporting the nation’s armed forces.
The visit served not only as an expression of gratitude but also as a reaffirmation of the government’s commitment to stand shoulder to shoulder with the military in every moment of national significance.
