On the day of the Shangai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Samakarkand, a historic city in Uzbekistan.
He met with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan before the summit got started on Friday, and he also had plans to meet with President Almazbek of Kazakhstan later in the day.
Since today is the primary summit day, it is a pretty hectic day for the world leaders gathering for the summit.
The prime minister met with Ebrahim Raisi of Iran, Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, and Vladimir Putin of Russia earlier on Thursday. Additionally, he met with the leaders of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
Shehbaz Sharif deemed his Thursday sessions “useful.”
The prime minister claimed in a tweet that he spoke about promoting commerce and investment. “I explained the flood ravages due to climate change. Food & energy shortages present a real challenge to our shared development agenda,” the prime minister said.
