ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a four-day public holiday in celebration of Eid ul Azha, official sources confirmed on Friday.
The federal government has decided that Eid holidays will be observed from Friday, June 6 to Monday, June 9. During this period, all government offices, private sector workplaces, educational institutions, and banks will remain closed.
A formal notification is expected to be issued soon by the Cabinet Division, sources added.
The extended holiday period is intended to provide citizens across the country with the opportunity to celebrate the religious festival with ease, spending quality time with family and friends without the interruption of work obligations.
