Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has stated that Pakistan is grappling with social issues, crime, and terrorism in part due to illegal immigrants. He emphasized that while some immigrants are positively contributing to the country, Pakistan is sending illegal immigrants back to their respective countries, primarily Afghanistan, not to harm or create animosity with Afghanistan.
Kakar also expressed the government’s intention to establish and maintain relations with Afghanistan in accordance with international law, highlighting that the expulsion of illegal immigrants does not signify a desire to sever ties with their neighboring country.

Regarding the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), the Prime Minister clarified that there are no plans to engage in negotiations with this banned terrorist organization. He emphasized that the state is resolute in its fight against the TTP and has the strength to combat them for an extended period.
Kakar praised the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their resilience in the face of terrorism over the years and paid tribute to the sacrifices made by martyrs who laid down their lives for the country. He called for unity and a willingness to make sacrifices for the country’s integrity and betterment.
In response to questions regarding reports of homes being burned in tribal areas, Kakar stated that he has no confirmation of widespread reports of mass-scale house burnings. He directed the Inspector General and Chief Secretary to provide an accurate report based on the reality of the situation and take action against any culprits if necessary.
Pakistanis Protest Against Israeli Attacks on Gaza
Across various regions of Pakistan today, hundreds of Pakistanis took to the streets to express their strong protest against the Israeli siege and intense bombing in the Gaza Strip. They demanded an immediate end to the oppression faced by the Palestinian people.
The Israeli military has been carrying out airstrikes on Gaza following a surprise offensive by the Hamas group on Saturday. This has resulted in Israel placing Gaza, home to 2.3 million people, under siege, while local authorities reported a high number of Palestinian casualties, with more than 1,500 Palestinians killed.
Israel has expressed its commitment to eliminating Hamas, but a ground invasion of Gaza poses a significant risk due to the presence of hostages kidnapped during the assault. Reports indicate that the Israeli death toll has risen to more than 1,300.
In response to Israel’s call for over one million civilians in Gaza City to relocate to the south within 24 hours, the UN has urged Israel to cancel this order, warning of severe humanitarian consequences.
