About the Show
Hosted by Ayesha Omar, Lazawaal Ishq is Pakistan’s first Urdu-language reality dating show. Omar has already confirmed that the series will premiere on YouTube. She described it as a unique experience for Pakistani and Urdu-speaking audiences worldwide.
The format is based on the Turkish reality hit Aşk Adası, already adapted into Persian and Arabic versions. The Urdu adaptation will run for over 100 episodes, featuring four men and four women living in a luxurious villa. Their daily interactions, emotional bonds, and challenges will unfold on screen, with the season ending in the crowning of a winning couple.
Ayesha Omar on Hosting
Omar explained that the show required a host who could connect with local audiences. “There were many candidates, and I feel grateful I was selected. The show has Pakistani participants, boys and girls, who you can see in the promo. It’s all about love — and there will be a winning couple,” she said.
Teaser Release
The teaser features sweeping views of the Bosphorus, showing Aysha Omar on a boat before entering the grand villa. The villa includes a modern poolside setting where contestants will compete and form relationships.
