The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the schedule for the upcoming T20 international series against Bangladesh, comprising five matches. Notably, the series marks the return of international cricket to Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium after a 17-year hiatus.
As per the schedule, the first two matches will take place in Faisalabad on May 25 and 27, 2025. The action will then shift to Lahore, where the remaining three matches are set for May 30, June 1, and June 3.
Originally, the tour was to feature three ODIs and three T20Is. However, with preparations for the T20 World Cup in focus, both cricket boards agreed to convert the ODIs into T20s, resulting in a five-match T20 series.
This series holds significant importance as both teams gear up for upcoming global T20 competitions. For Pakistan, it also marks a historic moment as Iqbal Stadium reopens its gates to international cricket after nearly two decades.
