ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board has cleared several cricketers for international leagues. The board resolved the debate over No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) and granted permission to several national players to participate in international cricket leagues. The board has cleared them to participate in the Abu Dhabi T10 League, the ILT20 in Dubai, and Australiaโs Big Bash League. The move signals a coordinated effort to balance overseas commitments with Pakistanโs international calendar.
A number of Pakistani cricketers are already active in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. Their NOCs remain valid until November 25. The confirmed group includes Iftikhar Ahmed, Khawaja Nafay, Asif Ali, and Salman Irshad. Mohammad Amir, Arafat Minhas, Irfan Khan, and Azam Khan have also joined the competition. Fast bowlers Shahnawaz Dahani, Abbas Afridi, Akif Javed, Mir Hamza, Ubaid Shah and Zaman Khan strengthen the Pakistani presence in the league.
PCB Approves Players for ILT20 Participation
The PCB has also approved Fakhar Zaman, Naseem Shah and rising talent Hasan Nawaz for the ILT20 season. They will compete from December 2 to January 4. Their selection ensures representation across batting, fast bowling and emerging categories. Considerable interest surrounds Hasan Nawaz as he prepares for his first overseas league assignment.
Earlier, the board granted NOCs to Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan for the Big Bash League. Haris Rauf and Hasan Ali also received approval for the tournament. Their involvement provides strong Pakistani participation in Australiaโs leading cricket competition.
Players Prepare for Busy Global Commitments
The broader NOC approvals mark the end of a short period of revoked permissions. The board had taken strict measures earlier due to concerns related to team form and discipline. Officials now aim to maintain a balanced approach. They continue to monitor player workloads while allowing controlled overseas opportunities.
Pakistan faces a demanding international schedule in the coming months. Therefore, workload management remains a major priority for selectors and support staff. The PCB hopes players will gain valuable experience abroad without compromising national duties.
Fans Expect Strong Performances in Global Leagues
Pakistani fans of cricket expect an exciting period as Pakistani stars demonstrate their performance across global venues.
