ISLAMABAD: The schedule for Pakistan’s Hajj flights has been finalized, with the first flight set to depart on May 1, 2025, according to sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The official flight schedule is expected to be released by April 10.
This year, 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims will perform Hajj, with approximately 89,000 traveling under the government scheme.
The 30-day Hajj operation will conclude with the final flight departing on May 30. Five airlines, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and a Saudi carrier, will be responsible for transporting pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
The launch of Hajj flights comes nearly 35 days after Saudi Arabia reopened its airspace for the pilgrimage season.
Authorities have assured that all necessary arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey for the pilgrims.
