The UAE’s golden visa is a residency permit of extended duration that empowers foreign talents to reside, work, or study in the country with exclusive privileges. The golden visa is accessible to investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, exceptional students, humanitarian pioneers, and frontline heroes.
The golden visa includes the following features:
- Grants entry to the country for six months with multiple entries, facilitating the process of obtaining a residence permit.
- Offers a renewable residence visa that is valid for either five or ten years.
- Eliminates the requirement for a sponsor.
- Allows individuals to stay outside the UAE for periods longer than the usual six months without affecting the validity of their residence visa.
- Enables the sponsorship of family members, including spouses and children, regardless of their ages.
- Permits the sponsorship of an unlimited number of domestic helpers.
- Authorizes family members to remain in the UAE until the expiration of their permit duration, even if the primary holder of the golden visa passes away.
