ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will begin collecting the second and final installment of Hajj dues under the government scheme from November 3. The process will continue until November 10. Pilgrims can deposit their dues in 14 designated banks.
Non-Payment Will Lead to Cancellation
Those who fail to pay the final installment on time will lose the chance to perform Hajj. Officials said banks will refund the first installment to applicants whose Hajj cases get canceled.
Cost and Accommodation Packages
The government will collect Rs600,000 per person as the second installment. Media reports said pilgrims must pay an additional Rs200,000 for a double-bed family room. They will pay an extra Rs67,000 for a triple-bed room.
Package Change Allowed Only Once
Applicants can change their package while submitting the second installment. Authorities will not allow changes after payment confirmation. The Ministry of Religious Affairs urged the applicants to comply with the new instructions and submit their dues within the prescribed deadline.
