ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has received $3.2 billion worth of remittances in November 2025 from overseas Pakistanis. According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the inflow dropped by 6.75 percent from October’s remittances of $3.4 billion.
However, it still showed a strong yearly increase. Remittances stood at $2.92 billion in November 2024. Therefore, the latest inflow reflects a 9.4 percent rise on a yearly basis.
Remittances Rise in First Five Months of FY26
Pakistan received $16.15 billion during the first five months of FY26. The amount rose from $14.77 billion in the same period last year. This increase represents a 9.33 percent yearly rise. The sustained growth continues to support the country’s external financing needs.

Saudi Arabia Remains Top Contributor
Saudi Arabia remained the largest source of remittances in November 2025. Pakistani workers sent $753 million from the Kingdom. The inflow dropped by 10.11 percent on a monthly basis. However, it rose by 3.26 percent on a yearly basis. Saudi Arabia continues to play a major role in Pakistan’s remittance inflow.
UAE Stays the Second-Largest Corridor
The United Arab Emirates remained the second-highest source of remittances. Workers in the UAE sent $675 million in November. The amount reflected a 4.01 percent monthly decline. However, it posted an 8.98 percent yearly increase. Notably, remittances from Dubai reached $567 million during the month.
United Kingdom Posts Strong Yearly Growth
Remittances from the United Kingdom increased sharply. Workers sent $481.1 million in November 2025. The inflow rose by 17.38 percent on a yearly basis. However, it dropped slightly by 3.54 percent from October.
United States Records Declines
Remittances from the United States declined in both comparisons. Workers sent $277.1 million during November. The inflow dropped by 8.07 percent month-on-month. It also decreased by 3.86 percent year-on-year.
EU Countries Show Strongest Growth
European Union countries posted the strongest surge among all major corridors. Workers sent $416.6 million in November 2025. The yearly increase reached 28.81 percent. Italy contributed $122.9 million. Spain added another $72.4 million to the inflow.
Other GCC States Post Declines
Other GCC countries also contributed significantly despite declines. They sent $298.8 million during November 2025. The inflow fell by 13.61 percent month-on-month. It also posted a slight yearly drop of 1.38 percent.
